DRESS HIRE RETURN / REFUND POLICY
Cancellations
We understand that plans can change; however, due to the nature of our hire business, cancellations can impact the availability of garments for other customers.
Once a booking has been placed, the selected garment is reserved exclusively for your booking period and may no longer be available for another customer to hire.
Full Refunds
A full refund will only be provided when:
- Cancellation occurs within 24 hours of placing the booking (unless the item has already been dispatched or prepared for delivery)
- Cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to the booking date
Store Credit
If cancellation occurs between 3–14 days prior to the booking date, Colour You Beautiful may provide store credit to the value of the hire fee at our discretion.
No Refund or Store Credit
Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the booking date will not be eligible for a refund or store credit, as the garment has been reserved and may no longer be available for another customer to hire.
We understand unexpected circumstances can occur. In exceptional situations, Colour You Beautiful may consider alternative arrangements at our discretion.
Store credit:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Must be used within the timeframe provided
- May only be used for the applicable collection where specified
CYB BASICS RETURNS / EXCHANGES POLICY
At Colour You Beautiful, we want you to love your CYB Basics pieces. Due to the nature of boutique clothing, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
Approved returns will be issued as store credit only.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- All original tags must remain attached
Returns are assessed by the Colour You Beautiful team before store credit is issued.
Store credit:
- Is valid for 60 days from the date of issue
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Can only be used towards CYB Basics collection items
- Cannot be used to purchase gift cards
Items purchased using store credit are final sale and cannot be returned for further store credit.
Sale Items
Sale items are final sale unless the item is faulty.
Faulty or Defective Items
If you believe your item is faulty or defective, please contact Colour You Beautiful within 7 days of receiving or purchasing the item.
Where an item is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, we will offer an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or store credit in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Colour You Beautiful is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect care, washing, alterations, or general wear and tear.
Online Purchases
For approved online returns, customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
